Its been 3 months since Jeff had met the optimitic and energetic Zoey Miles. What started of as a friendly relationship, spun into an uncontrollable feeling of love in a matter of weeks. She took care of him, even when he didn't ask for it, and they mostly spent time together in his apartment in the Citadel, to avoid any accidents with his legs. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning for him, not because she felt that he was helpless, but it was because it was what she liked to do.

She also enjoyed listening to his many stories of the famous Commander Shepard, and at times when the memories got to be too much, she was a comfortable shoulder to cry on. As a friend, she was there for him.

Her clothes were... strange, old fashioned, but he could never see her in anything else.

She had flaws, of course, like any other woman. She was clumsy, forgetful and naive. But it made her feel ... more real like any other person he had ever met.

And now as they were simply 'chilling' in his apartment, in silence, but enjoying each other's company, all he wanted to do, was to try and tell her how he felt. But as he was too shy, he'll settle for just one thing.

Just to hold her hand... just once.
